A world where grown-ups don’t have to grow up.

One night I remember looking around and thinking... is this what I waited all those years to grow up for?

It was late 2024. I was going through a breakup that hit me harder than I'd like to admit.
Kurvwear had just had a huge launch - sales were amazing, but I felt completely overwhelmed.
I was working 12 hour days, managing fires, juggling endless to do lists, and then crawling into bed with a million thoughts racing through my head.

I needed something that didn’t feel like “work.” Something that didn’t ask anything of me.
So I made myself a cocktail, turned on Hannah Montana, and started creating with my hands - playdough, pottery, candles, whatever.
That one hour of peace every night reminded me why I started any of this in the first place. It was the only time I felt like me again.

That’s how Don’t Eat My Candle was born.

Not from a plan.
Not from a brainstorm.
From a need to reconnect with the parts of me that didn’t feel heavy.
To make something just for the joy of making it.
To feel like a kid again, even just for a moment.

I started hand pouring candles that looked like cocktails and infusing them with my favourite luxury fragrances like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Chanel No. 5, Carolina Herrera Good Girl, YSL Libre, etc.

And every step of building this brand healed something in me.
It reminded me that joy doesn’t have to be productive. That play isn’t pointless.
That the smallest things whether its a candle, a scent or just watching Disney Channel as an adult - can pull you out of the darkest places and bring you back to yourself.

Don’t Eat My Candle isn’t just about novelty candles.
It’s about making space to feel light again.
It’s about coming home to who you were before the burnout.
It’s about that small moment at the end of a long day when you light a candle and remember that you've made it though the day.

So if you’ve ever felt burnt out, heartbroken, or just completely over it -
this is your reminder to play. To rest. To romanticise your Tuesday.

And whatever you do… don’t f*****g eat it.
